Austin Hackney United Delegation Joins the Festival
Digital Shoreditch Festival is a two week mass-community celebration, inviting the entire world of tech, creative and all their converging industries, from around the world to East London between 11th – 24th May! Austin Hackney United (AHU) members will be attending this year’s festival!
Austin-Hackney United, like the original Digital Trade Mission, is grounded in the opportunities that stem from our similarly thriving tech sectors. Like Austin’s SXSW multi-faceted festival, Digital Shoreditch represents a multi-layered participation in each other’s academic, artistic and cultural endeavors while also enriching “3 leg” relationships, such as with Angers, France, and Oslo Norway.

Who Attends the Festival?
Austin Hackney United, shorthand for the Austin Hackney Sister Cities Partnership brings together companies, entrepreneurs and community leaders to build stronger business and community ties between Austin and Hackney, especially in the areas of economic development, technology, music, art, film, and education. Members of AHU will be at Digital Shoreditch 2015 and they join just about everyone in the creative sector! No, seriously. From big brand names to designers, advertisers to musicians, entrepreneurs to investors, film-makers to developers, marketing mammoths, to social enterprises, blue-chips to startups…we could go on! DS15 has got it all and everyone is welcome – so what are you waiting for?
Because the world just doesn’t function without food, and certainly not the tech and creative world; this year we’ve teamed up with the best restaurants, street vendors, and bars, in the local area to offer you great deals, discounts and booking options. Meaning you can easily organize business meetings over lunch, dinner or drinks (or just grab a bite for yourself) in a number of great locations around the Town Hall. And Hoxton Square will become a bonafide foodie feast, where you’ll also be able to catch live music performances and talks. Amazing!
